NOTICE AND ORDER REGARDING INTERPLEADER ACTION AND CLAIMS TO DEATH BENEFITS

This is a notice to Monica Elizabeth Romero that an interpleader action captioned, State Farm Life Insurance Company v. Monica Elizabeth Romero, and Nancy Guardado Romero, Civil Action No. 23-CV-2323-EFM-GEB, is pending in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and arises out of adverse claims to life insurance benefits that became payable upon the death of Bernardo Romero. State Farm has been unable to locate Monica Romero despite diligent efforts. Monica Romero is officially placed on Notice of the following Order from the District of Kansas, the Court where the interpleader action is pending.
YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO ASSERT A CLAIM TO THE INSURANCE FUNDS ON DEPOSIT IN THE REGISTRY OF THE COURT IN CIVIL ACTION NO. 23-CV-2323-EFM-GEB. YOU ARE HEREBY ORDERED TO APPEAR OR PLEAD IN RESONSE TO THE COMPLAINT ON OR BEFORE MAY 9, 2024. IF YOU DO NOT APPEAR OR PLEAD WITHIN THE TIME ALLOWED, THE COURT WILL PROCEED AS IF MONICA ROMERO HAS BEEN SERVED WITH PROCESS IN KANSAS.
