DENNIS SEGRIED STANLEY, Appellant, v. TIMOTHY FILSON, WARDEN; OFFENDER MANAGEMENT DIVISION; AND THE STATE OF NEVADA, Respondents.

ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL

Dennis Segried Stanley appeals from an order of the district court denying a postconviction petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed on August 21, 2017. Seventh Judicial District Court, Lincoln County; Gary Fairman, Judge.

Stanley contends the Nevada Department of Corrections has not applied the full amount of credits he has earned to his sentence, resulting in his projected expiration date running seven months past when it should. In response to an order of this court, the State has demonstrated that Stanley discharged the sentence at issue in this case on October 12, 2019. Stanley's discharge of his sentence rendered any challenges to it moot. See Johnson v. Dir., Nev. Dep't of Prisons, 105 Nev. 314, 316, 774 P.2d 1047, 1049 (1989). Accordingly, we

ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
