SPECIALTY COMPOUNDING, LLC, Appellant, v. ELIZABETH BOURNE, Appellee.

On appeal from the 404th District Court of Cameron County, Texas

ORDER ABATING APPEAL

Before Chief Justice Valdez and Justices Rodriguez and Garza
OrderPer Curiam

This cause is before the Court on the appellant's unopposed motion to grant an extension of time to file its brief. Appellant states that the parties are working together to set a mediation date in April and is requesting a twenty-day extension following the completion of mediation for the brief to be filed.

The Court, having examined and fully considered the documents on file and the unopposed motion for extension of time to file the brief, is of the opinion that the case should be ABATED until such time as mediation is completed. This appeal is ordered ABATED until May 20, 2016.

Appellant's motion for extension of time to file the brief is GRANTED. The Court directs appellant to file, on or before May 20, 2016, either (1) a motion to reinstate the appeal with appellant's brief, or (2) a motion to dismiss the appeal pursuant to settlement.

PER CURIAM Delivered and filed the 1st day of April, 2016.
