Opinion
Gen. No. 42,066. (Abstract of Decision.)
Opinion filed June 19, 1942
AUTOMOBILES AND MOTOR VEHICLES, § 143.3 — direction of verdict in injuries to pedestrian. Where plaintiff was crossing an avenue at some distance from a crosswalk, with a clear view of the highway, and was struck by defendants' feeder bus which was not traveling in excess of any speed limit, the evidence failed to show that plaintiff was in the exercise of due care for her own safety and a directed verdict for defendants was proper.
