Smith v. State

Supreme Court of Florida.
Dec 9, 2014
157 So. 3d 1048 (Fla. 2014)

Opinion

No. SC14–1936.

12-09-2014

Lonnie SMITH, Petitioner(s), v. STATE of Florida, Respondent(s).

Opinion

Because petitioner has failed to show a clear legal right to the relief requested, he is not entitled to mandamus relief. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus is hereby denied. See Huffman v. State, 813 So.2d 10, 11 (Fla.2000) ; Travelers Ins. Co. v. Rodriguez, 357 So.2d 464, 466 (Fla. 2d DCA 1978). No motion for rehearing will be entertained by this Court.

PARIENTE, LEWIS, QUINCE, CANADY, and PERRY, JJ., concur.
