Alex Smith has filed a motion to dismiss this appeal. The motion contains an unequivocal expression by Smith of his desire to dismiss the appeal. As authorized by Rule 42.2(a) of the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure, we grant Smith's motion. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.2(a).

Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal.
