SIX K MANAGEMENT PRODUCTIONS, INC., Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

This case was on the December 18, 2023 Los Angeles, California trial calendar. The asserted deficiency is quite large, but the issues are mostly ones of substantiation. Respondent had previously reported that petitioner sent him a large amount of informal discovery.

Respondent recently reports that an IRS exam agent reviewed the materials petitioner sent and detailed additional deductions the examiner believes petitioner substantiated. Respondent feels additional time may resolve some, or perhaps all, of the currently disputed items on the notice of deficiency.

As long as the parties continue to cooperate in informal discovery the case can stay on a status-report track, and it is

ORDERED that on or before November 25, 2024 the parties shall submit settlement documents or file another status report describing their progress.
