Sitler v. Sitler

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of New York, Second Department
Jun 1, 1998
251 A.D.2d 319 (N.Y. App. Div. 1998)

Opinion

June 1, 1998

Appeal from the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Gazzillo, J.; Henry, J., at trial).

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.

Contrary to the plaintiffs contentions, an award of lifetime maintenance is not appropriate under these circumstances (see, Liadis v. Liadis, 207 A.D.2d 331; cf., Borra v. Borra, 218 A.D.2d 780).

The plaintiff's remaining contentions are without merit.

O'Brien, J. P., Pizzuto, Joy and Florio, JJ., concur.
