From the 49th Judicial District Court, Webb County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2011CVT001181 D1
Honorable Joe Lopez, Judge Presiding
ORDER
The reporter's record was originally due to be filed in this appeal on April 5, 2017. On April 11, 2017, the court reporter responsible for preparing the record, Ms. Cynthia Perez, was notified that the record was late. On April 12, 2017, Ms. Perez filed a notification of late record requesting that the deadline for filing the record be extended to May 31, 2017 because she was working on a 7,000 page record for a capital murder trial. By order dated April 19, 2017, Ms. Perez's request was granted. Because the record was not filed by May 31, 2017, and Ms. Perez did not communicate with the court regarding the deadline, this court issued an order on June 6, 2017, ordering Ms. Perez to file the reporter's record in this court no later than June 19, 2017.
On June 14, 2017, Ms. Perez filed a notification of late record, and on June 15, 2017, Ms. Perez filed an additional letter, explaining her workload and her need for an additional extension. Ms. Perez's notification is NOTED. The reporter's record must be filed in this court no later than June 29, 2017. NO FUTHER EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED ABSENT EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES.
