Florida District Court of Appeals
Jan 10, 2024
377 So. 3d 169 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2024)

Opinion

No. 1D2023-0965

01-10-2024

Lawrence SIMPKINS, Petitioner, v. Ricky D. DIXON, Secretary, Department of Corrections, Respondent.

Lawrence Simpkins, pro se, Petitioner. Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Respondent.

Petition for Writ of Certiorari—Original Jurisdiction. Lawrence Simpkins, pro se, Petitioner.

Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Respondent.

Per Curiam.

The Court treats the petition for writ of certiorari docketed April 20, 2023, as an appeal of the March 16, 2023, "Order Dismissing Petition for Writ of Mandamus," which was rendered April 6, 2023, upon the filing of the order denying rehearing. The Court treats the amended petition docketed May 9, 2023, as the initial brief. We summarily affirm for failure to show any basis for appellate relief. See Fla. R. App. P. 9.315(a).

B.L. Thomas, Ray, and Tanenbaum, JJ., concur.
