The reporter's record in this case was filed October 26, 2023. On February 20, 2024, appellant filed a motion to abate the appeal and requested this court to order the court reporter to file requested records. Appellant indicates he timely designated that the reporter's record include hearing on October 11, 2023 and October 24, 2023.
Because Texas Rule of Judicial Administration r.2 applies to this appeal, we direct Cara Massey, the official court reporter for the 314th District Court of Harris County, to prepare, certify, and file with the clerk of this court a supplemental reporter's record containing both requested transcripts on or before April 10, 2024.
If any of the hearings were not recorded, Cara Massey is directed to file a certified statement with the clerk of this court detailing which hearings were not recorded on or before April 10, 2024.
Appellant's brief is due 20 days after the supplemental reporter's record has been filed or a certified statement filed that the requested hearings were not recorded.
We otherwise deny the motion to abate.
