On January 27, 2022, the Court received in docket numbers 13673-20 and 13825-20 a document titled "Respond to Respondent's First Set of Interrogatories to petitioners Bajis Katwan and Hihi Flavia aka Flavia Katwan." Jameel M. Shihadeh is the petitioner in docket number 13673-20 and Bajis Katwan and Flavia Hihi aka Flavia Katwan are the petitioners in docket number 13825-20. The document contains statements by petitioner Bajis Katwan and by Najeeb Shihadeh, one of the petitioners in docket number 13856-20.
These statements appear to be responses to informal discovery requests made by respondent. In general, informal discovery is a process conducted between the parties. Responses to informal discovery requests should not be sent to the Court and are not included in the record of these cases. We will instruct the Clerk of the Court not to file the document submitted by petitioners.
It is not apparent from the face of the document if petitioners also sent a copy of this document to respondent. Petitioners are advised that because the document will not be entered into the record, they should send a copy to respondent if they would like him to review it.
In consideration of the foregoing, it is
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall not file the document "Respond to Respondent's First Set of Interrogatories to petitioners Bajis Katwan and Hihi Flavia aka Flavia Katwan" and should instead maintain it as unfiled correspondence in docket numbers 13673-20 and 13825-20.
