ORDER
On October 24, 2017, we ordered the Harris County District Clerk to file a supplemental clerk's record by November 6, 2017. The record was not filed. We issued a second order on November 9, 2017, again directing the district clerk to file the record by November 20, 2017. The record has still not been filed.
Accordingly, we order the Harris County District Clerk to file the requested supplemental record by December 7 , 2017 , containing the following two documents:
1. Motion to substitute counsel, filed August 3, 2017; and
2. Order granting motion to substitute counsel, signed August 3, 2017.
If any requested item is not part of the case file, the district clerk is directed to file a supplemental clerk's record containing a certified statement that the requested item is not a part of the case file.
The trial and appellate courts are jointly responsible for ensuring that the appellate record is timely filed. Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(c). If the supplemental record is not timely filed, we will take appropriate action. Id.
