ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's May 5, 2020 unopposed motion for an order directing the trial court to enter its findings of fact and conclusions of law and for an extension of time to file his brief. We GRANT the motion and ORDER the Honorable Emily G. Tobolowsky, Presiding Judge of the 298th Judicial District Court, to make findings of fact and conclusions of law in accordance with Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 297 no later than June 5, 2020. The trial court's findings of fact and conclusions of law shall be filed in a supplemental clerk's record with this Court no later than June 10, 2020.

We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order by electronic transmission to Judge Tobolowsky, Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre, and the parties.

We ABATE the appeal to allow the trial court an opportunity to comply with this order. The appeal will be reinstated, and a new deadline will be set for the filing of appellant's brief, no later than June 15, 2020.
