A circuit court must use sound discretion in granting or denying a motion for a continuance. E.g. , Sharp v. State , 2015 Ark. App. 718, at 11, 479 S.W.3d 568, 576. Our court will not reverse the circuit court's decision absent clear abuse of that discretion.
The finder of fact is not required to lay aside its common sense in determining criminal intent.Sharp v. State, 2015 Ark. App. 718, at 3, 479 S.W.3d 568, 571 (citing Smith v. State, 2010 Ark. App. 135, 374 S.W.3d 124 ).Id.
