ANDREW V. SENDEJO, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case was on the March 21, 2022 St. Paul, Minnesota trial calendar, and is mostly about the substantiation of business expenses. Informal discovery seemed to have slowed, so we spoke to the parties on October 19. We learned that petitioner has now given respondent the records that he has, but there remain questions. The case may still be headed to trial, but for now can stay on a status-report track. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before December 19, 2022 the parties file a status report describing any progress toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried in these cases, as well as their respective estimates of how long it will take to prepare a comprehensive stipulation of facts and be prepared to try the case. 1
