These cases are calendared for a two-week special trial session of the Court scheduled to begin on July 17, 2023, in Los Angeles, California.
On March 2, 2023, respondent filed a Motion to Extend Time in which respondents moves that the Court extend the time from March 3, 2023, to March 17, 2023, for respondent to file a response to petitioners' Application for Order to Take Deposition to Perpetuate Evidence of Jamshid Sehati, and also to extend the time within which the parties are to complete depositions from [February 24, 2023], to May 8, 2023. The Court's Order served February 21, 2023, extended the time for the parties to complete depositions from February 24, 2023, to April 24, 2023. Respondent states in his motion that petitioners do not object to the granting of respondent's Motion to Extend Time. Also on March 2, 2023, petitioners filed a Motion to Extend Time in which petitioners' moves that the Court extend the time from March 3, 2023, to March 7, 2023, for petitioners to file the Expert Witness Report of Charles Carmona. Petitioners state in their motion that respondent does not object to the granting of petitioners' Motion to Extend Time. Upon due consideration and for cause, it is
ORDERED that respondent's Motion to Extend filed March 2, 2023, is granted, and the time within which respondent shall file a response to petitioners' Application for Order to Take Deposition to Perpetuate Evidence of Jamshid Sehati is extended from March 3, 2023, to March 17, 2023. It is further
ORDERED that petitioners' Motion to Extend filed March 2, 2023, is granted in that the time within which petitioners shall file their Expert Witness Report of Charles Carmona is extended from March 3, 2023, to March 10, 2023. It is further
ORDERED that the parties' joint Pretrial Order is amended in that the time by which all depositions of fact witnesses shall be completed, unless a motion to compel answers to specific questions has been filed, is extended from April 24, 2023, to May 8, 2023. It is further
ORDERED that the joint Pretrial Order entered by the Court on January 24, 2023, as amended by this Court's Order remains in full effect in all other respects.
