Charles SCHWARTZ, III, D.O., Appellant v. Jake FIPPS and Wife, Miriam Fipps, Appellees

From the 49th Judicial District Court, Webb County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2015-CVT-003956 D1
Honorable Joe Lopez, Judge Presiding

ORDER

This is an accelerated appeal. After this court granted appellees a thirty-day extension of time to file their brief, the brief was due October 2, 2017. On October 2, 2017, appellees filed a second motion for extension of time, asking for an additional thirty days in which to file their brief. In the motion, appellees assert their attorney, who offices in Houston, has been impacted as a result of Hurricane Harvey. As a result of the hurricane, counsel has been unable to complete the brief. After review, we GRANT appellees' motion for extension of time and ORDER appellees to file their brief in this court on or before November 1, 2017.
