ALAN MICHAEL SCHUECKLER, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 265th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F11-72399-R

ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's May 18, 2020 motion to supplement the record and to hold the briefing schedule in abeyance. In the motion, appellant states the trial court's docket sheet contains an entry dated August 21, 2019 indicating that defense counsel was in court to "make his bill of exceptions from the 8/16/19 hearing." Appellant seeks to supplement the record with the August 21, 2019 hearing.

We ORDER Official Court Reporter Georgina Ware to determine which court reporter would have reported the August 21, 2019 proceeding and to coordinate the filing, within THIRTY DAYS of the date of this order, of either (1) a supplemental reporter's record of the hearing on appellant's bill of exception or (2) written verification that the hearing was not reported.

We DENY that portion of appellant's motion seeking an abeyance of the briefing schedule. Instead, we EXTEND the time to file appellant's brief until SIXTY DAYS from the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to transmit copies of this order to the Honorable Jennifer Bennett, Presiding Judge, 265th Judicial District Court; Georgina Ware, official court reporter, 265th Judicial District Court; and counsel for the parties.
