Anum Sattar v. Ryan Z. Hazlitt

Trial court: 280th District Court of Harris County Trial court case number: 2024-28779

ORDER

Terry Adams Judge

Appellant's counsel Penny Wymyczak White filed a brief on behalf of appellant on November 6, 2024. On the same day, appellant filed a motion to strike the November 6 brief because she had not approved it, and she sought to remove White as her appellate attorney and proceed pro se. On November 15, 2024, White filed a motion to withdraw, asserting that good cause exists to withdraw because she is unable to effectively communicate with her client. White also filed a response to the motion to strike, stating that if this Court grants her motion to withdraw, she has no objection to withdrawing the November 6 brief.

Accordingly, we grant White's motion to withdraw and strike the November 6, 2024 brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 6.5, 10.4.

Appellant's brief is ORDERED to be filed no later than 30 days from the date of this order. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a).

Appellee's brief, if any, is ORDERED to be filed within 30 days of the filing of appellant's brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(b).

It is so ORDERED
