LEEROY RANDY SANCHEZ, Appellant, v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, State.

Appeal from the 143rd District Court of Ward County, Texas (TC# 23-06-06623-CRW)

Before Alley, C.J., Palafox and Soto, JJ.

ORDER

PER CURIAM.

Pursuant to Tex.R.App.P. 10.4 (a) the motion ruled on through this Order may have been decided by a single Justice sitting on the panel.

The Court grants the Court Reporter's third request for an extension of time to file the Reporter's Record until August 5, 2024. The reporter's record is now due to be filed on or before August 5, 2024. NO FURTHER MOTIONS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE THE REPORTER'S RECORD WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THIS COURT.

If reporter Una King does not file the reporter's record by August 5, 2024, this Court will take further action to protect the parties' rights, which may include abating the cause and remanding to the trial court for a hearing to determine if another reporter should be assigned to complete the record in this cause, filing a report with the Judicial Branch Certification Commission, the regulatory agency overseeing Certified Court Reporters, issuing a show-cause order requiring Una King to appear in person before this Court, or issuing an order of contempt finding Una King in contempt for failing to file the reporter's record in a timely manner.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
