JOSHUA S. RORIE, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge

On March 1, 2021, petitioner filed an imperfect petition to commence this case. The filing fee for this case was not paid. By Order issued May 18, 2021, the Court directed petitioner to file an amended petition and to pay the Court's $60.00 filing fee. An amended petition form for petitioner's use was attached to that Order. No response was received from petitioner.

By Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction entered June 30, 2022, this case was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction on the ground that petitioner failed to pay the Court's filing fee for this case. The filing fee has since been received. However, petitioner has not yet filed an amended petition, as directed by the Court.

In view of the foregoing, it is ORDERED that, on the Court's own motion, the Court's Order of Dismissal for Lack of Jurisdiction entered June 30, 2022, is vacated and set aside. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before August 12, 2022, petitioner shall file an amended petition (see form attached) in this case using the docket number noted above. Failure to comply with this Order may result in the dismissal of this case for lack of jurisdiction.
