ORDER

Pending before the Court is Appellant's motion requesting access to the appellate record and an opportunity to file a brief on appeal. The motion is granted in part and denied in part.

This appeal is from The El Paso Municipal Court of Appeals. Pursuant to Section 30.00027 of the Texas Government Code, the record and briefs filed in the Municipal Court of Appeals constitute the record and briefs on appeal to the Eighth Court of Appeals. TEX.GOV'T CODE ANN. §30.00027(b)(1)(West Supp. 2012). The record and briefs from the Municipal Court of Appeals have been filed directly with this Court as required by Section 30.00027(b)(2). By statute, Appellant is not permitted to file a brief on appeal. To the extent Appellant requests an opportunity to file a brief, that request is DENIED. Appellant's request to review the appellate record is GRANTED, but she may not remove the record, or any portion thereof, from the premises of the Eighth Court of Appeals. The record can be reviewed during regular business hours and at the direction of the Clerk of the Eighth Court of Appeals.
