Appellant's brief is overdue. The brief was originally due May 24, 2024. This Court granted appellant's motion for extension of time to file the brief and ordered the brief filed by June 21, 2024. As of the date of this order, appellant's brief has not been filed, and appellant's counsel, Peter Morgan has not filed a second motion for extension of time to file the brief.
We ORDER Peter Morgan to file appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief on or before JULY 24, 2024. If appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief are not filed by that date, the Court may abate the appeal for the trial court to make findings pursuant to Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.8(b)(2). See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b)(2).
