Opinion

December 7, 1942.

Present — Lazansky, P.J., Carswell, Johnston, Taylor and Close, JJ.

In an action for libel the verdict in favor of the plaintiff was for $2,000. A motion to set it aside on the ground that it was excessive was granted unless the plaintiff stipulated to reduce the amount to $500. Such a stipulation was filed, and from the judgment entered thereon the defendant appeals. Judgment unanimously affirmed, with costs. No opinion.
