CORPORATIONS, § 204retention of voting control in another corporation not prohibited. In suit by holder of preferred stock of Illinois corporation to enjoin Delaware corporation from voting common stock of former corporation, and by holder of common stock of Delaware corporation to require latter corporation to transfer to her common stock of Illinois corporation upon surrender of her common stock in Delaware corporation, where it appeared that Delaware corporation was organized for purpose of retaining voting control of Illinois corporation, held that complaint was properly dismissed, since corporations are empowered and authorized by statutes, to own stock in other companies, and such ownership may go to extent of obtaining control.

Appeal from the Superior Court of Cook county; the Hen. ULYSSES S. SCHWARTZ, Judge, presiding.

Judgment affirmed. Heard in the second division, first district, this court at the April term, 1944.
