DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
Motion by The Legal Aid Society, TakeRoot Justice, and Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem for leave to file an amicus curiae brief on an appeal from an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County, dated November 21, 2022.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted; and it is further, ORDERED that the amicus curiae brief shall be served on the parties, and an original and four duplicate hard copies, and one digital copy, of the amicus curiae brief shall be filed in this court, within 21 days of the date of this decision and order; and it is further, ORDERED that no oral argument by the amicus curiae shall be permitted; and it is further, ORDERED that respondent, if so advised, may file an original and four duplicate hard copies, and one digital copy, of a response to the amicus curiae brief within 14 days after the amicus curiae brief is served.
