Motion by respondent-appellant for a stay pending the determination of appeal from an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Queens County, entered October 18, 2017.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the appeal is dismissed, as, pursuant to a stipulation dated November 1, 2017, the parties settled the matter, rendering the appeal moot; and it is further,

ORDERED that respondent-appellant's motion is denied as academic.
