Jun 22, 2005
905 So. 2d 960 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2005)

Opinion

No. 3D05-174.

June 22, 2005.

An appeal under Fla.R.App.P. 9.141(b)(2) from the Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County, Ivan F. Fernandez, Judge.

Edwin Rivera, in proper person.

Charles J. Crist, Jr., Attorney General and Paulette R. Taylor, Assistant Attorney General, for appellee.

Before GREEN, RAMIREZ, and WELLS, JJ.

We affirm the trial court's summary denial of the appellant's motion for post-conviction relief claiming ineffective assistance of trial counsel. The appellant's assertions in support of his claim are either refuted by the record or are insufficient to state a claim for ineffective assistance of counsel.
