ORDER OF DISMISSAL


Stacey Erick Riley, an inmate at the Santa Rita County Jail, filed this pro se civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The court reviewed Riley's complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915A and dismissed it with leave to amend on August 12, 2003, The court identified several deficiencies with the complaint and ordered Riley to file an amended complaint no later than September 19, 2003, Riley's complaint did not state a claim upon which relief may be granted, Riley did not file an amended complaint, and the deadline by which to file an amended complaint has passed. Accordingly, this action is dismissed without prejudice for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. The clerk shall close the file.

IT IS SO ORDERED.

JUDGMENT
