Mark W. Richter & Mitra A. Richter Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge.

We continued this case from the Court's January 25, 2021 Los Angeles trial calendar because respondent said the parties had reached a basis for settlement. That was optimistic, but respondent did recently again report that he'd received additional documents from petitioners. We spoke with the parties on September 10, 2021 to make sure progress was being made, and learned that 2 of 4 issues had settled. One should settle within a month, and one is too small not to settle.

The case may therefore stay on a status-report track and it is therefore

ORDERED that on or before November 10, 2021 the parties shall submit decision documents or file a status report to describe their progress toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried.
