Opinion

No. 05-06-01693-CV

Opinion Filed July 18, 2007.

On Appeal from County Court at Law No. 1 Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CC-06-13122-A.

Before Justices MORRIS, FRANCIS, and MAZZANT.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

On December 20, 2006, appellant filed a notice of appeal in this case. Appellant's brief was due on March 22, 2007. We granted appellant an extension and ordered him to file his brief by June 2, 2007. After appellant filed a deficient brief on June 1, 2007, we sent him a letter directing him to file a brief in compliance with the rules within ten days. We granted appellant an extension of time to file the amended brief, and ordered him to file it by July 1, 2007. We warned appellant that no other extension motions would be granted, and we cautioned appellant that if he failed to file a brief by July 1, 2007, we would dismiss the appeal. Nevertheless, appellant did not file his brief on July 1, 2007, but instead filed another extension motion on July 2, 2007. We DENY the July 2, 2007 extension motion.

We DISMISS the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a), 42.3(c).
