Ricky Lee REYES, Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

From the 229th Judicial District Court, Jim Hogg County, Texas Trial Court No. 21-CRJ-76 Honorable Baldemar Garza, Judge Presiding

ORDER

Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice

On September 25, 2023, we ordered the trial court clerk to file a supplemental record as requested by Appellant, and we suspended all other appellate deadlines. On December 29, 2023, we ordered the trial court clerk to produce the requested record or face show cause proceedings. We now take judicial notice of a supplemental record filed on January 18, 2024, that contained the trial court's charge on punishment, a letter from the trial court stating that the punishment verdict forms were lost or destroyed, and copies of blank punishment verdict forms. The show cause order is satisfied. See Tex. R. App. P. 34.5(e).

We reinstate the appellate timetable. Appellant's brief is due within thirty days of this order.
