CHRISTINE REULE, Appellant v. JOHN R. BELUS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 190th District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 2014-37325

ORDER

On July 31, 2015, appellant filed a motion to extend time to file her brief because the court reporter has not filed a complete reporter's record. Appellant requested that the court reporter prepare and file a record of the following hearings in this appeal:

1. The Temporary Restraining Order hearings on June 27 and 30, 2014;

2. Hearing on Motion to Compel Reule's deposition which said deposition was ordered for July 3, 2014;

3. Temporary injunction hearing on July 7, 2014, as well as the OSC on July 24, 28 and 30. 2014;
4. August 6, 2014 pauper's oath hearing;

5. September 9 and 24, 2014 status conferences;

6. October 20, 2014 hearing;

7. October 27, 2014 hearing;

8. December 15, 2014, hearing;

9. December 29, 2014 hearing;

10. January 20, 2015 hearing.

The court reporter has filed in this appeal a record from the temporary injunction hearing on July 7, 2014, and a telephonic hearing that took place on January 6, 2015. The hearing records from July 24, 2015 and July 30, 2014 have been filed in this court in cause number 14-14-00772-CV, and will be transferred to this appeal. With regard to the status conference hearing held on September 24, 2014, the court reporter who took the hearing informed this court that the record had been lost due to recent flooding in the Houston area. On the direction of this court, the trial court held a hearing to determine whether the record could be recovered, and, if not, whether the record was necessary to appellant's appeal. The trial court found that the hearing record could not be recovered, but was not necessary to appellant's appeal.

To the extent the remaining hearing records, dated June 27, 2014, June 30, 2014, July 3, 2014, July 28, 2014, August 6, 2014, September 9, 2014, October 20, 2014, October 27, 2014, December 15, 2014, December 29, 2014, and January 20, 2015, were recorded in trial court cause number 2014-37325 in the 190th District Court of Harris County, the court reporter is ordered to file those hearing records on or before September 9, 2015.

Appellant's brief will be due 30 days after the reporter's records are filed.
