Angelique M. Rentola Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent
ORDER
Ronald L. Buch, Judge
This case was called from the calendar at the remote session of the Court on October 4, 2021, for cases where Detroit, Michigan is the place of trial, for hearing on the Commissioner's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution filed September 13, 2021. There was no appearance by or on behalf of Ms. Rentola. Counsel for the Commissioner appeared, informed the Court that petitioner had retained counsel, and moved to continue the case. Later that same day, counsel entered an appearance for Ms. Rentola, and the Court held a conference call with the parties. As discussed with the parties, it is
ORDERED that the Commissioner's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution filed September 13, 2021, is denied without prejudice. It is further
ORDERED that the Commissioner's oral motion for continuance is granted and this case is continued. It is further
ORDERED that the parties shall submit a decision or joint status report by November 24, 2021. In lieu of a joint status report, either party may submit a separate status report stating that the other party has reviewed the report and agreed to its contents. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction is retained by the undersigned.
