In Lindsay v. Archibald, 65 Mo. App. 117, it was held by the Kansas City Court of Appeals (reversing a judgment of Judge Rucker) that a husband could not prove up against a wife's estate a claim for cash advanced as a loan to her during her lifetime, although she owned and managed separate property and kept a separate bank account.
