NATHANIAL REGGISH, Appellant v. JOYCE A. STEPHENS, Appellee
On Appeal from the Collin County Probate Court No. 1 Collin County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. PB1-1777-2020
ORDER
BILL PEDERSEN, III JUSTICE
On June 24, 2024, we suspended the brief deadline in this appeal after appellant informed us that the record was incomplete, and we ordered appellant to file a status report indicating which portions of the record were missing and verifying that a supplemental record containing the missing portions had been requested. In accordance with our order, appellant has filed a status report. Appellant informs the Court that a supplemental reporter's record containing two missing exhibits has been filed, and he is "working" with reporter Cindy Conyers of ABC Court Reporting "to secure transcripts for multiple pre-trial hearings that took place via Zoom" but have not yet been filed.
Under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 35.3(b), the official or deputy reporter is responsible for filing the reporter's record. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.3(b). Accordingly, we ORDER Carolyn England, as Deputy Official Court Reporter for Probate Court No. 1, to file a supplemental record containing the transcripts of the pre-trial hearings no later than August 12, 2024. We DIRECT Ms. England to work with Ms. Conyers as necessary to ensure the timely filing of the record.
Appellant's brief shall be filed within thirty days of the filing of the record.
We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. England, Ms. Conyers, and the parties.
