Appellant's brief is overdue. Appellant's brief was originally due September 27, 2023. On October 2, 2023, this Court granted appellant's counsel's motion for extension of time to file the brief and ordered the brief filed by November 15, 2023. On November 20, 2023, this Court granted counsel's second motion for extension of time to file the brief and ordered the brief filed by December 18, 2023. As of the date of this order, appellant's brief has not been filed, and appellant's counsel has not communicated with this Court since November 15, 2023.

We ORDER appellant's counsel, Valencia Bush, to file appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief on or before JANUARY 16, 2024. If appellant's brief and a motion for extension of time to file the brief are not filed by that date, this appeal may be abated for the trial court to make findings in accordance with Rule of Appellate Procedure 38.8. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(b)(2).
