CAMERON D. RASMUSSEN & TRACY A. RASMUSSEN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

This case was on the Court's September 12, 2022 trial calendar for San Francisco, California. It is all about substantiation and we continued it to enable petitioners to try to settle with IRS Appeals. The parties recently reported that the Appeals Office has made some progress in reviewing documentation provided by petitioner's counsel and promises to be done by the end of this month. It's reasonable to keep the case on the status-report track - and not push for a transfer to a different appeal office or delay the case generally -- and it is

ORDERED that on or before April 18, 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or file a status report describing their progress at IRS Appeals.
