CAMERON D. RASMUSSEN & TRACY A. RASMUSSEN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case was on the Court's September 12, 2022 trial calendar for San Francisco, California. It is all about substantiation and we continued it to enable petitioners to try to settle with IRS Appeals. They recently reported some, albeit slow, progress and asked to have the case assigned a trial date to give the Appeals Officer a special incentive to attend to this case. There has, however, been enough progress for it to be more reasonable to keep the case on the status-report track. For now. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before December 14, 2022 the parties shall submit settlement documents or petitioners shall file a status report describing their progress at IRS Appeals toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried.
