Hisidoro D. RAMON, Jr., Appellant v. The STATE of Texas, Appellee

MEMORANDUM OPINION

From the 198th Judicial District Court, Kerr County, Texas
Trial Court No. B1533
Honorable Rex Emerson, Judge Presiding PER CURIAM Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Chief Justice Karen Angelini, Justice Marialyn Barnard, Justice DISMISSED FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION

Appellant seeks to appeal an order denying his Motion for Intra Loan of Clerk's Record and Reporter's Record. This court only has jurisdiction to consider appeals authorized by law. Abbott v. State, 271 S.W.3d 694, 696-97 (Tex. Crim. App. 2008). "In this case, we have not found any rule or any statutory or constitutional provision that would authorize appellant's appeal from the trial court's post-judgment order denying [appellant's] motion." Id.

By order dated March 23, 2017, appellant was ordered to show cause in writing by April 6, 2017, why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. Appellant did not file a response. Because the order appellant seeks to appeal is not an appealable order, this appeal is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
