We REINSTATE this appeal.

On September 12, 2024, we abated this appeal for the trial court to hold a hearing and make findings regarding appellant's brief. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b). On September 20, 2024, appellant's counsel filed a motion for extension of time to file the brief and tendered appellant's brief with the motion.

We VACATE this Court's order of September 12, 2024, to the extent it required the trial to hold a hearing and make findings. The trial court need not hold the hearing or make the findings required by that order.

Appellant's motion for extension of time to file the brief is GRANTED, and we ORDER the brief received with the motion filed as of the date of this order.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Monique Huff, Presiding Judge, County Criminal Court No. 10, Dallas County; John Warren, Clerk of the County Criminal Courts of Dallas County, Texas; Trisha Phillips, Official Court Reporter, County Criminal Court No. 10; and counsel for all parties.
