MARIO RAMIREZ & LETICIA RAMIREZ, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

These cases were on the Court's September 12, 2021 San Francisco, California trial calendar. They arise from the same company's tax troubles. Those troubles are mostly questions of substantiation, and we continued the cases to enable them to try to settle at IRS Appeals. Informal discovery has been slow, and parties themselves have agreed on a deadline for petitioners to produce any remaining records to IRS Appeals. If the parties don't settle soon thereafter the Court will likely move these cases to a pretrial-order track. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before April 17 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or respondent shall file a status report describing the parties' progress in settling the case.
