Vance B. Querio & Catherine K. Querio Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge

This case is on the Court's April 4, 2022 trial calendar for Los Angeles, California. It had been continued once before, and features foreign tax credits and assertions of civil fraud, so we spoke with the parties on February 16, 2022 to gauge progress. All agreed that the only issue that remains unresolved since the case's last appearance on a LA trial calendar is the civil-fraud penalty, and both parties are optimistic that with a bit of time they can settle that too. It will therefore be

ORDERED that that this case is stricken from the Court's April 4, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before May 17, 2022 the parties shall submit settlement documents or file a status report describing their progress toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried. 1
