TRAVIS ANTHONY QUEEN & SUSAN QUEEN, Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes, Judge

This case is on the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar for Atlanta, Georgia. The parties called today to orally ask for a continuance. Pretrial development has been unusually slow on both sides, but Mr. Queen promised to email to the IRS's lawyer what receipts he has by October 24. The IRS lawyer promised to review them within a couple weeks. This should move the case much closer to settlement, and it is therefore

ORDERED that this case is stricken from the Court's October 24, 2022 trial calendar. It is also

ORDERED that this division of the Court retains jurisdiction. It is also

ORDERED that on or before November 7, 2022 respondent shall file a status report to describe the parties' progress toward settlement or a narrowing of the issues to be tried.
