Prince v. State

Supreme Court of Florida
Apr 27, 2005
902 So. 2d 791 (Fla. 2005)

Opinion

Case No. SC05-4.

April 27, 2005.

Petitioner filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus with this Court on November 19, 1999. This Court transferred the petition on January 31, 2000. On June 5, 2001, petitioner filed a second petition for writ of habeas corpus with this Court, seeking the same relief that he sought in the 1999 petition for writ of habeas corpus. On October 9, 2001, this Court denied the petition in pertinent part as res judicata. Petitioner has now filed a petition to invoke all writs jurisdiction, seeking the same relief as was sought in the 1999 and 2001 petitions. Because this Court has previously considered petitioner's claims for relief, the petition is hereby denied as successive.

WELLS, LEWIS, QUINCE, CANTERO and BELL, JJ., concur.
