FELIX J. PRIETO & CONSUELO PRIETO, Petitioners, v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Tamara W. Ashford Judge

On March 13, 2023, pursuant to the Court's December 21, 2022, Order, the parties' counsel separately filed a Status Report, apprising the Court of the then present status of this case. Each counsel reports that petitioners continue to work with the Internal Revenue Service Independent Office of Appeals (Appeals); more specifically, petitioners recently provided additional documentation to the Appeals officer. According to respondent's counsel, on March 10, 2023, the Appeals officer informed her that additional time is necessary to review the documents; according to petitioners' counsel, it would be prudent to allow Appeals additional time to review the documents. Accordingly, each counsel requests that the Court order additional status reports in 60 days. Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that the parties shall, on or before May 15, 2023, file status reports, separately or jointly, apprising the Court of the then present status of this case.
