Summary
In Price v. Price, 329 Ill. App. 176, and Lucchesi v. Lucchesi, 330 Ill. App. 506, the court which had entered the divorce decree modified the custody provisions of the decree upon application after the death of the spouse to whom custody had been awarded.

PARENT AND CHILD, § 3 — when order granting custody of minor child to grandmother was proper. On appeal by father from order granting custody of minor child to her maternal grandmother, where it appeared that mother of child was deceased and father had never evidenced any sincere interest in child's welfare from time of her birth, and contributed nothing toward her support until induced to do so by Red Cross, and that child had always lived in home of maternal grandmother who was fit and proper person and properly circumstanced to provide adequate home for child, held that judgment should be affirmed.
