Athanasios Pragias & Cynthia Pragias Petitioners v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

David Gustafson, Judge

These two consolidated cases--Nos. 4495-17 and 4496-17--are scheduled for trial at the Court's session in New York City beginning March 28, 2022; but on March 9, 2022, petitioners filed a motion for a continuance, explaining that the parties are engaged in "meaningful settlement discussions". We have learned that respondent does not object. It is therefore

ORDERED that the motion for a continuance is granted, in that the trial of this case will not be conducted at the scheduled trial session. It is further

ORDERED that the judge signing this order retains jurisdiction over this case. It is further

ORDERED that, no later than April 27, 2022, the parties shall file either a proposed stipulated decision, or a status report, or another appropriate filing.
