Powell v. Logan Cab Company

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Jun 11, 1973
278 So. 2d 507 (La. 1973)

Opinion

No. 53533.

June 11, 1973.

In re: Mrs. Gladys Powell, Individually and on behalf of her minor daughter, Louise Powell, Mrs. Wilhelmina Cole, Individually, and on behalf of her two minor daughters, Marie Cole and Georgia Mae Cole, applying for certiorari, or writ of review, to the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit, Parish of Orleans.

Writ denied. On the facts found by the Court of Appeal, we find no error of law in its judgment.

DIXON, J., dissents from the refusal to grant. The facts in the Court of Appeal opinion are convincing that the common carrier violated the high degree of care owed its passengers.
